Day 1: Hanoi Arrival – Time for relax
For the first day in Hanoi, you may be tired after a long flight, therefore, it is better to take a rest and make preparation for the next 7 days of Vietnam adventure. At this time, you can enjoy delicious specialties in Hanoi that is highly recommended for every tourist first coming to Hanoi. Also, you can spend night time relaxing in Ta Hien Street – a famous street of fun and interesting things that should visit.
Day 2: Hanoi city tour – Travelling around Hanoi
After the first relaxing day, you will spend your time discovering well-known places in Hanoi. The Old Quarter of Hanoi is one of the must-visit places where you can explore brand-new things about lifestyle and culture. Next, you can visit other famous sites such as Temple of Literature, Uncle Ho’s Mausoleum, Great Church or Hanoi Opera House. In this second day, you can also continue to enjoy different cuisine in Hanoi since there are a plenty of choices for you.

Day 3: Ninh Binh – Visiting Hoa Lu – Tam Coc
Ninh Binh is also a must-visit destination in Vietnam. There are a range of places worth visiting in this beautiful province, yet as I have experienced, I highly suggest Hoa Lu – Tam Coc for your journey.
Joining in this tour, you will have a good chance to explore the culture and history of Vietnam through Hoa Lu – known as the ancient capital of Vietnam. Here, you will be introduced about Vietnamese history through Dinh and Le dynasties while visiting temples of these kings, respected as heroes with great contribution to the preservation of Vietnam.

Day 4 & 5: Halong Bay

Day 6 & 7: Sapa – Stop Station for amazing adventure
Tip: Take a train or a bus in the previous night, highly recommend cabin bus and sleeper train.
In the first day in Sapa, you should take a short rest before starting your exploration. Next, you should go trekking to some ethnic villages such as Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai and Ta Van. The trekking route is mainly downhill and it is one of the most exciting part in which you can learn more about culture and lifestyle of ethnic minorities.
Ta Van village is around 7 kilometers far away from Sapa town center, located in the middle of Muong Hoa valley. Here you can enjoy the spectacular nature beauty of majestic mountains, rice terraces and the wonderful Mountain of Fansipan.
In the second day, after breakfast, let’s go to Sapa market to see local products such as local food, fruit, vegetables, traditional clothes, handicraft brocades or indigo fabrics and you may find something interesting for yourself. Next, you can walk down to visit Cat Cat village, known as home to H’Mong ethnic people. Cat Cat village is famous for brocade fabrics and and silvery jewelry including necklaces, bracelets, rings and earrings that is sophisticatedly produced.
Day 8: Hanoi Departure
In this day, you are free enjoy your last day in Hanoi or just relax before coming back home. You can buy some souvenirs, enjoy delicious cuisine or take some pictures of Hanoi.
